January Distance Challenge

My Activity Tracking

My target 600kms

I'm Riding because Cancer isn’t fair and we need a cure!

I am dedicating this January to ride as many km’s as I can to support the many South Australians impacted by cancer.

The money raised through Ride for a reason enables Cancer Council to fund vital prevention, research, advocacy and support programs that save lives.

With one in two Australians diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85, the need to find better ways to detect and treat cancer is real.

Donate to support my ride so together we can work towards a cancer free future!

Day 12

Wednesday 12th Jan
??? DAY 12 of our fundraiser ride and we are on track with 212km total so far!

We managed 20km after work last night, 10 before dinner and 10 afterwards and backed it up with 20km this morning ?

Day 8 Ride for a Reason

Saturday 8th Jan
We smashed out 40km today to reach a total of 151kms in just 8 days.
It’s not easy to be honest and it takes an amount of dedication, courage and a strong will to keep going when you’re body gets tired and sore… I’m sure it’s not anywhere near what someone endures when they have cancer, are having treatment, chemotherapy or live with the day in day out challenge of  the illness themselves or as a support to a loved one.
I think this cycling challenge helps to understand that somewhat.
Much respect to anyone who has had cancer, is fighting it right now or has lost a loved one or friend to cancer. ???

Thank you to my Sponsors
